Maarten + Claudette
Microweddings are becoming more & more popular especially during the summer months in Queensland. We were there to capture Maarten & Claudettes wedding film. Here are a few of our favourite moments from their wedding video below.
Claudette & Maarten opted for a simple microwedding with 50 of their dearest friends & family. As Maarten hails from the Netherlands, it was important to them to honor dutch tradition. The bride & groom arranged a first look prior to the ceremony & entered the chapel hand in hand, as is custom in Holland.
With their beautiful Border Collie Annie as their ring bearer, the couple said I do at Brisbane’s Broadway Chapel. Their friend & past colleague Pastor Graham Kell performed their ceremony, recounting his own version of how the couple met & fell in love.
The couple opted for a short bridal shoot overlooking Brisbane city, while their guests enjoyed champagne at Stokehous Q in South Bank. Working alongside our friends at Riddle Photographers, it was such a pleasure to film Claudette & Maarten’s wedding.
Claudette & Maarten wanted to host their reception at a venue that was in line with their values. The Lovewell project is a ‘profit for purpose’ social enterprise cafe nestled at the top of Mount Gravatt with stunning views over Brisbane CBD.
We had a wonderful day filming Claudettes + Maarten’s wedding day! With special thanks to all contributing suppliers –
