The Calile Suite is large enough to host even the biggest bridal parties comfortably, and also features it’s own private rooftop terrace. Not only that, it’s also the ultimate romantic suite for your first night together as a married couple.

Ceremony
Whether you are planning an intimate micro wedding at The Calile, or a grand soiree with all your friends and family, there are ceremony spaces for up to 180 guests located onsite.
For those seeking an al fresco ceremony, the white brick walls of the Amphitheater create a stunning visual backdrop for your nuptials. If you prefer a slightly more urban look, your ceremony can take place on the rooftop.
And there’s no need to stress about having a wet weather backup! The incredible Calile event team will have you covered with a second option should your best laid plans fall by the wayside.
If you are planning a church ceremony, the cobblestoned St Patricks’ Church is tucked away just off James Street and directly across from the hotel. You are also just a short car trip away from Our Lady of Victories and The Holy Trinity Church in Fortitude Valley as well as The Greek Orthodox Church of St George in West End.

Reception
The Calile Hotel has a multitude of event spaces that cater for all sized weddings. For the small & intimate micro weddings, The Drawing Rooms host 24 guests & have ample natural light.
For the larger weddings, The Grand Rooms I-V can cater to 250 guests in a banquet style setting or up to 350 for a cocktail style reception.
Our personal favorite space at the Calile is the open air Amphitheatre. Overlooking the iconic Calile pool, The Amphitheatre can comfortably cater for 120 guests in a cocktail or ceremony setting and 60 if you are seeking a sit down reception.
Photo Shoot
The Calile Hotel truly brings a breath of fresh air to the Brisbane wedding venue scene. Gone are the days of needing to race around the city searching for the perfect location for bridal portraits. Absolutely everything can be done on site which is a major advantage for an inner city venue.
