DOCUMENTING MOTHERHOOD

My journey to motherhood was not smooth sailing. It felt like a never ending roller coaster of challenges giving way to raw emotion. When we finally did manage to fall pregnant, it was a combination of unbridled joy and a whole lot of trepidation. I can now fondly look back on the time as one of the happiest seasons in my life, although it did not always feel that way at the time (thanks pregnancy hormones). But I often think back with a little twinge in my heart, wishing that I had more photos to document such a special time in my life. So my best advice as a mama is to document your journey as much as you can! Take every chance that you get to film and photograph that beautiful bump because it is truly a miracle and an absolute magical wonder of life!
